Thinking of getting new components. Definately leaning hard toward the MM455's, but was wondering if anyone out there knows of any others that sound pretty good. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, what happened to Kim? Haven't seen her posting in a while...

    anybody know how deep the stock opening for the doors on a 96 gm truck??
    theyre 5 1/4 in speakers and i was looking at the momos but i dont really feel like customizing anymore than i have to and ive heard the momos are a pretty deep
    and does anybody know where you can get them for cheap??
    the 455s??
    my wallet is already bruised and i dont really want it knocked out...

    im confused...
    how deep are the stock openings without customizing??
    how deep are the momos??
    and if i buy the 5 1/4'' speakers and buy the mounting brackets from metra they will work??

    C-Man,

    I had my MM455s/465s installed by a shop that sells the Boston Acoustics Pro Series (which are good speakers in their own right). After they heard the Polks, they were very impressed. Evyeryone in the shop (myself included) thought they sounded better than the Bostons the manager had in his car!

    In my opinion, go with MM455s...
