Not a holiday here in Canada, we had it last weekend. I am on my second tank of propane for this summer (not really summer yet here). We BBQ in the winter here. Last weekend, it was salmon, week before Arctic Char and this weekend, not sure yet. Maybe ribs or some smokeys. Enjoy!

I use a chiminey to keep hot coals ready and cook at around 225 -250 degree's.. throw some wood in thats been soaked in water... so it doesnt burn.. Oh yeah im serious bout my BBQ.. got some corn on the cob also for the grill... gonna have the family over, oh and beer of course.. to go with the ribs..

I have both propane and a traditional wood smoker. The propane gets used more sadly but you can't beat some slow smoked ribs cooked for about 6-8 hours. In fact since I'm going away right after work today I think I'll plan to do some ribs, and maybe a shoulder for fathers day. mmmmm.

I am in NC so there will absolutely be various types of pig on my grill every night this weekend. Whole Tenderloin last night with some grilled peaches, Johnsonville Brats and buckets o beer tonight, Herb (Thai Basil, green onion and cilantro) - Hoisin Crusted Ribs with corn and grilled asparagus tomorrow night...and haven't figured out what for Monday yet. Maybe an Angioplasty.

hey here's a good idea. wrap your asparagus in Proscuitto, first spread extra virgin olive oil on the asparagus then wrap in proscuitto and sprinkly with fresh ground pepper. then grill. Mmmmmm!

dang danger, I might have to try that sometime. To grill asparagus I normally marinate for a couple of hours in EV Olive Oil, ground black pepper and Soy Sauce at room temp. I do love some prosciutto though. Sounds tasty.
