can a MM2124 handle 460w RMS? If so, i have a 2-channel kenwood amp that puts out 460w x1 when bridged, so i could get the single 4 ohm sub, and that would run good, correct??

The sub is rated for 400 watts. That means thats the most it is designed to handle.

If youre careful with the gain and volume you wont really have a problem. You dont start your car up at 75 mph do ya? Its the same with an amp. Its not always putting out 460 watts.

Here is a good gain setting tutorial to go by.

why not just turn the gain down a little?? ive had nothing but bad experiences with putting even a little more than a polk subs RMS
