Don't know anything about the CR series, but last year I auditioned some Boston VR series and liked them better than Klipsch Reference series. It was Boston VR3 against Klipsch RF5 on a Denon 3803 or 3805 (not sure which).

CR6, wasn't this the car speaker?Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -
Going on memory here....the CR6 should be a small bookshelf speakers w/ a 3/4" dome tweeter and 5 1/4" mid/woofer. Metal grill. Nothing really special about this model, but should be good as computer speakers (these are magnetically shielded) or as surround speakers. The CR7 and CR8.....now those are excellent.
Ex CR8 owner here. -
thanks for the reply guys.
Danny, that's what exactly I'm planing to do, run the CR6 as computer speakers right beside my 19" monitor, will be driven by a pioneer intergrated amp. -
I think the CR6 will be more than good as computer speakers. If you ever go surround on your computer setup, the CR1 is the matching center-channel speaker*.
* Can't believe I memorized these things.
