PERFORMANCE ENCLOSURES FOR LC80i

I'M CONSIDERING INSTALLING THE LC80i IN THE CEILING TOGETHER WITH RETROFITTING POLK'S PERFORMANCE ENCLOSURES. I HAVE A CATHEDRAL CEILING. THE SPEAKERS WOULD BE APRROXIMATELY 11 TO 12 FEET HIGH. THE STUDS ARE 18" APART. HAS ANYONE INSTALLED THESE AND HOW DID IT GO? ALSO, HAVE YOU HEARD THE DIFFERENCE IN SOUND WITH AND WITHOUT THE ENCLOSURES. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS.

Hi Bill,

If the performance enclosures for the LC80i's are the same as the enclosures for the LC26i's, it might be a big deal installing them in an existing ceiling.
