I have one of those Audiosource amps and have been really pleased with it. Great price, too.

    Russ,

What's your honest assessment of the Audiosource amps/pres.
I know I've had excellent service from their 10" powered sub for about 10 years now. Never a glitch. I'm asking because I'm hoping to pick up a pair of SDA 2a's this weekend and might try them with the larger Audiosource amp, till I can afford a nice tube.

    Thanks,

    Noel

And made by phoenix gold, which back in the early days of mobile audio, was a much respected brand. I'm not sure about that now though?

PG bought Asource a couple years ago. I bought three of their Amp-100's on ebay, still the same quality / tone.

PG also now owns Carver, Carver Digital, and Carver Pro lines.

Well with props like those and from you, I would have to definitely consider one to driver the SDA's.

Oh by the way I'm picking up a pair of Monitor 10b's on the way home tonight. I think I'm going to need grills for those. Anyone have a nice set they would let go of reasonably?

Might be good to start another thread, and keep this one on track. Don't read me wrong, I appreciate the bumps to the top of the Flea Market - but lets get back on track here.

    Rotel amps are STILL here.

    :)

    Cheers,
    Russ
