How not to record a CD... or... System of a Down's new CD

I've gotten through a few songs on the CD so far, and although it seems to be pretty good, it clips like you would not believe. Truly a terrible recording. The RTA on my car CD player is at the max on all of the bands probably 95% of the time.
And I thought one of the reasons to get a CD over stealing off of the web was for much better sound quality...

After hearing the song St Anger, I knew I didn't want to waste my money on the CD. So, in summary, I can't compare the two!Brian Knauss
