104 degrees in the shade on my patio yesterday at 4pm. It's gonna be a hot one...Suppose to be 109 in Tucson Sunday---watch out Wes!!!

Where I am, we're about 4-6 degrees cooler than Tucson, 8-10 degrees cooler than Phoenix. Poor Brett...LOL

We are going through a heat wave over the next couple of days, a bit early no doubt. It's currently 75 and weather reports are saying 80 over the weekend and then dropping back down to the low 70's by mid-next week.

...and to beat the summer heat, my new found companion, Blue Moon beer.

It's an unfiltered Belgian style wheat ale, slightly sweet with hints of citrus and decent malt flavor. A nice, lighter beer and served with a slice of Orange, it's great. An excellent summer brew. She brews in with a decent abv at 5.4%.

I'm not a huge fan of belgian ales but this one, with the orange slice is great. Give it a try on a summer evening if you can.

    Ron,

Did you know that Blue Moon's made by Coors? Not that it really matters, I guess.

Currently 61 here in Chicago. It's been dropping into the low 50's at night and staying in the 60's during the day.

Ah, Blue Moon Pale Ale... Quite nice after a day of school.

Coors lab was always a favorite, and Blue Moon straight from the brewery.. :D

Yup, and Coors is now owned by Molson! A canadian beer!

Kind of saw this coming. We are constantly out of Coors products from the brewery. Its hard to sell their products when theyre out of them all the time..

Also, they make us store their beer in a 45 degree cooler then we take it and put it in the back of a 90 degree truck all day so it condensates real good and disolves the packages good so when a customer picks it up it falls apart in their hands.

Anyhoo, that Blue Moon is pretty good stuff. Its a niche product. I have some stores that I cant give the stuff away but yet I have other that I cant keep enough on the shelf.

Now you boys be careful with that Canadian Beer. It's made a little different than your "beer".

Uhm...ever read some of our beloved President's quotes?

    My favorite:

" They have miscalculated me as a leader."

    More:

"It is clear our nation is reliant upon big foreign oil. More and more of our imports come from overseas."

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."

"We cannot let terrorists and rogue nations hold this nation hostile or hold our allies hostile."

Shall I go on? Yea, just one more:
