Polk Audio RTi-12 & CSi-5 - $1200
I found a listing in the classifieds for RTi-12s and a CSi-5 for $1200. Is this a good deal? What are each of these worth used?
Also can you have too much speaker for a room? My room is 11'-6" wide x 24' length. This is probably way more than I need, but I do not want to pass this up if it is a good deal.

You can get Rti12's and a CSi5 new from Crutchfield for $1620, plus shipping.
So, the $1200 asking price isn't a huge deal, but probably about $500 or so off new ones w/ shipping.
The quality of the deal depends on the condition of the speakers. Are they nearly new? Are they full of scratches? Do all the drivers work and are grille pins in place? I've seen a lot of gille pins come off on floor models.
As far as room size, in my opinion, no speaker is "too much" for a room. Your room is plenty big for floor standing speakers, sonically speaking, I'm not sure about aesthetics. However, use the saved money on used speakers to buy a separate amp for the 12's. A receiver will not even begin to do those things justice. They will take up to 500 watts, so try to feed them at least half that from a good amp.Current System:

I got a pair of RTi12s and a CSi5 center all for $1000 new from Circuit City when they were clearing them out, $800 for the 12s and $200 for the 5, but you'd be hard pressed to find a deal like that now.
