Just wonder if anyone has one and if someone would comment on them. I have no sub now and have listened to one recently that I though was impressive. I'm not sure of the model but it was in the $600-700 (Canadian) price range.

Hi Paul, I'm not quite sure which sub you're referring to. Maybe the PW-2200. It's about 8 or 9 here in the states. It's the sub i'm using. It does well with music and ht. Not afraid to hit the low notes either. Good solid build as well. :D

I'm never really sure about the whole shipping to Canada thing w/ SVS but the PB 10 ISD is a better sub than the Paradigm 2200. As is, in my humble opinion, of course, the Grotto from Martin Logan. I'm sure there are Canadian dealers for ML, and the Grotto gives you better performance in a more compact and attractive sub. Retails for about $1000 in the States.
Still, for the price, and if you like the sound of it, the Paradigms are decent subs. You don't really get great subs from them until you get into the Reference series though.

I would agree with you on the servo-15 but It may be way more money. Maybe you can find a good used one. you may want to look at one of the velo's in your price range.

I agree that a Servo-15 is more then he may like to spend. My input is that Paradigm makes some really nice subs, so my IMHO is that they make some smaller Subs really nice also.

On the other side, an used Servo-15 would be really nice too. ;)

I think it was the PS-1200 that I had listened to. I thought that it was pretty impressive but I don't know much about subs. Can anyone comment on that sub. It was only $600 (Canadian). Would it be a nice addition to my Denon 2805 and RTi8's.
