I just got ths preamp from someone off the forum and I plugged it into one of my sources, plugged in my audire amp, plugged in the power cord and turned it on with my amplifier and I get no sound. Is there something I'm missing about tube preamps or what should I check?

Hrm seems that my audire seems to be the problem. I hooked it up to my other preamp where it used to be connected and now I'm not getting out of it. I hooked up my carver amp to the AE and it works. What do I check on this amp? When I turn it on the light still goes on. Could I have blown a fuse somehow?

ok, coming off the high....so I put the fuse back in, plugged one speaker into the audire, one interconnect between audire and rotel preamp and nothing. Just bass bc the sub is still hooked up. What else can I check on this amp? What could have happened?
