Now I'll admit to being a Star Wars Junkie and am really fired up about seeing Revenge of the Sith, but it's getting out of hand. Driving around town today I see a 15' inflatable Darth Vader on the roof of a Burger King, as if the new "King" in the TV spots isn't creepy enough. Now I've got the ultimate bad guy peering at me from high above the drive-thru window. Stop off at the grocery store and pick up a few items and bought some these. Yeah I won $20 but Star Wars Lottery Tickets.....amazing.

you're missing a Episode II Cover.

not that it means much- II was my least favorite anyways.

If you happened to catch the Formula 1 race 2 weeks ago (Gran Prix of Monoco), there was StarWars sponsored car complete with a pit crew of Storm Troopers! (Even the announcer said "no marketing opportunities passed up here").

I just got back from Disney World in Fla. It was the "Official Star Wars Weekend" at MGM Studios. Wackos in full Star Wars gear (in 90° heat) were waiting in line up to 30-40 minutes to get into the gift shop at the end of the Star Tours ride....Not the ride...JUST THE GIFT SHOP! And yes...the lines to get your picture taken with a character in a Star Wars outfit (ALL OF THEM...including Darth Tater) were even longer. Don't get me wrong...I'm a Star Wars fan...but these guys (and the Trekies) are just weird. I'm glad I had the park hopper feature so we could jump on the bus and head over to EPCOT where the big deal was the annual International Flower Show. Fewer people...a lot fewer Storm Troopers and Jedi Knights...much, much better (except for the occasional 8 year olds light saber battle after dark).
