I finally have enough money saved up to buy my head unit and was wondering what you guys think about the selections that i am trying to pick from.
I either want:
Pioneer DEH-P7700MP
Pioneer DEH-P6700MP
any input on these units would be great.

P7 all the way.
First off it just looks better.
Second, while it only has 2.2 volt preouts, it does have 3 where the P6 only has 2. This will allow you more flexibility for upgrades.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

thanks for the input. yeah right now all i have are the speakers that would hook up w/ it. im looking into getting a sub or two and an amp, it all just depends on monetary things around here
yeah i thought it looked better i jus didnt know if the look was worth $50.

Its worth the extra $50 for the extra pair of outputs.
This way you can run 4 channels off an amp and a seperate channel to a sub amp. This is supremely better for tuning purposes. Especially if you were to bi-amp your front speakers.
I will never buy a head unit without 3 pre-outs. I strongly suggest you get a h/u with 3 unless you never plan to upgrade.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

i was going to help you out but you already installed it. I found it right here:
HERE
on ebay for like 198 + 25 for shippin. Cheaper than 270 . Too late now though. But thought I'd make you feel bad for paying more. LOL. So did you actually buy from Crutchfield? -
haha thanks i appreciate that.
no I ended up buying from Best Buy. I am no good at installing things like this so i would have had to have another place install it for me.
I talked to the guys at best buy and i got free instal. and they gave me everything free that i would have gotten for free from crutchfield in the first place so i didnt feel too bad.
Now im a little broke but i think ill go listen to some music to make me feel better :P
