I logged in and found my queue was wiped out. None of the SACD titles i had lined up are now listed on the site, also a number of Redbbod CD I had wanted are gone, looks like the number of titles is greatly reduced. I did a search for SACD and only found two titles one jazz and something else even available on the whole site.

WTF????????????????? Anybody else have this happen to them.

I just checked 2 hours ago and my "in cart" selections were still there. Now they are gone!! Also, everyone is an "unknown artist".

    Danny,

You have a phone number for them, I do not see one on the site, just an email contact page. I shot them an e-mail asking WTF in so many words, but no response as yet.

Could just be a temporary system crash, but BMG's parent company announced today that it had bought Columbia House and would be merging the operations of the two competing companies together. (Yourmusic is BMG)

My queue is down to one title only, but I did order the equivalent of 29 CDs from there a couple days ago.

    Columbia House buy out

Can't find any phone number to contact yourmusic.com. Just a e-mail contact page for me as well.

I just checked the site and the names of the artists are back. But my shopping cart is still empty. Maybe they are telling me something about my musical taste? :D

No need for alarm, it was apparently just a temporary problem. The Steve Hoffman forum has a thread about this, and apparently it's happened before. My queue has been restored, and they seem to be adding much more music lately rather than subtracting things, or maybe I'm just getting luckier finding what I'm looking for. I feel a need for another order coming on.

Having said that, there's no telling how long the $5.99 price will remain in effect as the deal can be cancelled if BMG feels it's losing money. The $400 million to buy Columbia House has to come from somewhere, but maybe the Yourmusic venture was a deliberate way to improve cash flow for their music business.

still only a couple SACD titles in the search...maybe they 'wised up' and figured they were losing money on the SACD titles...we'll see...

Yeah, their search engine seems to be screwed up because I was just getting the two SACDs showing up too. I just did a search for Bob Dylan, and all 14 "(SACD hybrid)" entries show up as well as the box set. They've also added some of the Living Stereo classical discs.

I got a response to my e-mail inquiry today. CS says they are experiencing "technical" diffuculties" they hoped to have cleared up soon. I noticed my queue has been restored and that some of the titles I searched for yesterday and could not find are back up. The high res search still doies not function.

Still, it seems nothing has changed.
