Is the LSI 9 shielded? Can you use it as a center?

I have seen a flurry of LSI 9's being sold separate as a center channel speaker. I was thinking about going that route. Can you lay them on the side on top of your tv? Or would you suggest leaving them standing upright? Thanks

Several people on the forum here use a 9 for their center. Do a search to see how they like.

The 9 "should" be shielded, although there have been some circumstances noted where some of them do cause some interference.
