Amp Help!

i just purchased 2 12s polk audio db series. the question is....whats a good amp to power these badboys up to its fullest potential?

    the hifonics bx1205d comes to mind, but it really depends upon your budget, and whether you have the SVC or DVC models.

    Speaker has 2 connections, one + and one - then it = Single Voice Coil (SVC)

    Speaker has 4 connections, two +'s and two -'s it = Dual Voice Coils (DVC)

    If you have SVC's then you can wire them up as a 2ohm load.

    I would recommend a Kicker KX600.1. I had one and it put out 740 watts RMS. This would be a nice match for your subs.

    If you have DVC's this MB Quart looks like a great deal. You can wire the amp for a 2ohm stereo load. You will get over 800 watts RMS (400 X 2), but you can play with the gains a little to get a little less.
