Is it ok to run 2 4ohm polk momo's (MM2124DVC) on a polk momo amp (C500.1 Monoblock Amp) in a 2ohm wiring setup. i have been riunning 1 momo (MM2124SVC) and i have blown 4 of them (burnt voice-coil) alredy running a 4ohm load.

    double dagger (yes?):
burning a VC has nothing to do with the load on the amp, beyond the fact that a lower load means higher power, to a point. and yes, the 500.1 is rather powerful :).

You may want to reset your gains. I find it very unusual that you received 4 bad Momo's. Sounds like your asking your amp to produce more than in can at that load. Meaning that it is seeing a lot of distortion, and or a clipped signal.
