Anyone see this one? (If you haven't, you should. It's Trey Parkers first film). I just shared it with a couple of friends. 3 of them loved it, another hated it. Any thoughts?

American History was his first one (sorry, big fan of Trey & Matt), but yeah...this is a love it or hate it movie.

I didn't know that. I thought this was his first. Is it available on DVD? Is it good (or as good as what follows?).

I think you can only get boots of it. You're right that this was the first 'big' one for them tho. It's good, but his sense of humor doesn't always sit well with everyone. :)

On another note, did you know that Trey was sent letters and emails from famous composers telling him that it was the best musical in the last 20 years? He's VERY talented.

Every song in the movie was fantastic. The openning one alone was way better than Oklahoma!

I found this the other night at Best Buy (15 clams) and grabbed it. Man, those songs are funny! And although I thought the movie was all in all pretty poor, it was a hoot to hear some of the South Park kids' voices pop up before there was a South Park (I distinctly heard Kyle and Cartman). Great commentary track too!

I heard a .wav file a while ago where it had the actors who do the voices for the South Park kids on it and it sounded hilarious. I'm guessing to be from somewhere like "Inside the Actors Studio" but I haven't ever seen it and want to.

    Anyone know where to look?

I'm not sure where to find it, but I do know that Trey & Matt do all the kid's voices and nearly all of the other voices as well. They do have other people playing some of the other voices, but not many. Chef being one of the ones they don't do. Token is also one of the guys that works with them on South Park.

brett, are you looking for canibal or south park clips? If you're looking for Canabal, you can try www.tromaville.com (troma picked up the movie for distrubition) or www.crapcrapcrap.com or do a search for Canable The Musical and you should find a link to the DVD on a canable site. My wife did have a hard time finding it for me.
