WTB: Power Filter

Looking for a power filter in the strip form, open to all brands.
I have shopped Ebay and AG but thought I’d see if anyone needed to unload one here first.
Got a slight buzz up front and a hum in the sub when the microwave runs. Thought I’d try the lazy man approach before I start running dedicated AC wires and such.

Thanks,

G

Panamax 1000 shipped for $120 obo? This one is especially cool if you have a switched output on a receiver or something. It has an extra cord to plug into a switched outlet which acts as a switch to provide a high current output to amps or whatever. Of course all the filtering...

Edit: Oh sorry, not really a strip. It is about 17" wide, 1 1/2 inches tall and maybe 6 or 7" deep. Has outlets all along the back, both switched and unswitched and I believe a switch and some LED's on the front.

I am looking for a decent power filter as well. Is there any problem hooking up a large external amp (high current) to these filters or do you still recommend plugging them straight into the wall?

If anyone else wants to jump on the offerings go right ahead, no harm as far as I’m concerned.
I’m real indecisive at this point, still looking at a lot of options.

It depends on how "high" of a current it is. For example my Carver mono blocks peak around 1400 watts each. They should be plugged into the wall or a "passive" filter which can supply as much as the circuit they are plugged into. Other high current amps may be plugged into a strip or component unit which supplies as much power as is required by the amp. It all depends on what your amp says it requires which is normally listed somewhere around where the power cord or fuse is.

something like a PS Audio Ultimate Outlet High Current (15A or 20A) is what you need. I use one and it works well. Check out PS Audio website for details.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
