HELP what reciver can I buy to this speakers.....

I have been trying to decide on a receiver for months and having a hard time to make up my mind. I hope that some of you more experienced people could help me out. 50/50 movie and music, I have front RTi10, central CSi5, surround FXi5 and subwoofer SVS pb10-isd. I am looking at the Denon 3805 ,HK 635 or Onkyo TX-NR801. I don't want to spend any many on extra amps. If you have any suggestion about other reciver that i don´t mentioned they are welcome. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Can you demo any of those AVR's? That's always the best way to decide.

personal experience, seeing I sell all three models, go with the Denon and don't look back.

I somewhat agree with TOxiS.

Between Harman Kardon, Marantz, and Denon- it's really hard to pick a favorite. They're all great quality wise, mostly it just depends on the model and how much you want to spend. I love my H/K- but I also got a great deal on it as well.

Seriously, those 3 makes are prob. the best you can buy for mainstream receivers.

i cant make a demo because I live in Argentina - South America and here nobody brings that type of recivers.

In my opinion, the Denon would be the best receiver in that group, at that price point. HK is nice, but less user-friendly, and for all the talk about HK being so musical, the Denon is great for music as well, less bright than Pioneer Elite even.
Of course, if you really want to make your speakers sing, you could up the ante a little and look at NAD, Rotel and even better, B&K. Take it from me. We have nearly the same system, and my Polks sounded leagues better on B&K than w/ my old Onkyo 701. Also had a HK 635 hooked up for a time, and still found the Rti 10's to sound a little thin for two-channel. I found myself running DSP modes to fill out the sound, but w/ the B&K they sound superb, coupled w/ the SVS for bass of course.

I have a marantz sr7200 and it's awesome. I've pushed it pretty hard and it never shut down on me or blew a speaker.

How would the Denon AVR 3805 compare with a B&K AVR 507?
Those are two I'm looking at. The B&K is more money, would there be a large difference?

anyone owns a B&K? i heard:

1. they're American made.
2. they sound really good.
3. you need a forklift to pick it up.

The B&K is heavy, but you don't need a forklift, it's not that bad. Heavy is good, though, it's all in the amp.
As for the difference between Denon 3805 and AVR 507, I wish I could say it's night and day, but the 3805 is actually a pretty good unit. I noticed you have LSi speakers,however, and 4 Ohm is where you really notice a difference. I play B&K on 4 Ohms at work next to the 3805 for customers, and they always prefer B&K. Soundstage is more open, more detailed, tighter bass response, and overall more presence. The 3805 sounds decent, but the B&K really shines at lower Ohms loads. Overall, w/ good speakers and a B&K receiver, distortion doesn't even enter into the equation. There will be no distortion at any volume you would ever reasonably listen at, and movies sound amazing, lots of power and detail.
I rememer the first time I watched Return of the King on my system, still w/ the Onkyo 701, and when the Witch King first comes out, the shrill cry was just nowhere near as menacing as I remember from the theater.
By the time the Extended Edition came out, I had my B&K, and what a difference. At louder volumes, it was almost unbearably shrill, like in the theater. Pretty cool.
If you can afford it, go B&K all the way. You will not be disappointed. It's great for music too, esepecially on the LSi's.

that's what i've always heard from all the magazines that the B&K performs like separates and is really good with -8ohm speakers.
