Flea Market question

I wanted to ask here before I post them on the Flea Market. I have decided to sell my SDA SRS speakers I got a little while ago. I just cannot power them with my Onkyo 602 and cannot afford to get proper amplification for a while. Most know I got a damn good deal on these but I would like to see around $700 for them. Is it kosher with this group to do that? I wouldn't mind trading them for a Onkyo TX-NR801 or similar either. I would like to keep them in the Polk family.

IMO, you're ok to price as you see fit. The only real guideline I've noticed being an issue is if you got the speakers for $500 from a member here, and then wanted to sell them back to the group for something like $1000.
Post it up in the Flea Market and I'd imagine you have a few neighbors up there that'll snatch them up quick.comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
It is my opinion you should ask a reasonable price for them. If someone here on the forum sold them to you for a super great price it would be reasonable to ask them if they mind. When I sell something on the forum for a great price it is because I would like for an interested polk member to get it. For me personally, if it doesn't work for that person I expect them to get the most they can for the item. After all, I sold it to them because I wanted them to get a great deal and to help them get ahead. In my opinion if I sell you something cheap and you give it away to the next guy you obviously did not see the value in it or had little appreciation for the item. Somewhat of a put down. Some people feel otherwise which is why I said to see if they are OK with the higher price. No big deal either way. If you bought it from another source then offer it for what you want. Just keep in mind that if a forum member REALLY wants it but cannot afford then give them a special price break if possible. Just my opinion.

Tripling your money is a great deal as long as the new offer is still considered a great deal to prospective buyers. Noone would expect you not to make a few $$$ on such a "flip" of equipment.
Only those here on the forum can decide if the $700 price is good enough for the SRS's you hold. It doesn't sound too high if they are functioning properly, but as I recall they did have some liquid damages.

No damage at all to the cabinets, grills still have some staining, drivers are all in good shape. I'll get some pictures and post them. With some of the stuff going on in the Flea Market, I just didn't want to do something wrong. BTW, these were bought from a local ad, noone from the board.Matthew

The main thing is that you honestly portray them. I saw the ad. That is a real steal in my opinion assuming the description is correct. Good luck!
