Hate to create a new thread, but figured this would be better continued in the 2-channel area as opposed to the for sale area.

Anyway, Holy crap, I LOVE my new Marantz 2270. It is rich, full, smooth, buttery, has tons of punch, and it is nice to look at; especially in a dark room. Man this thing is everything everyone said it would be. All this with a pair of Minimus 7w speakers and crap speaker wires, and rhapsody(computer service) as a source. I want to keep typing but I don't really know what else to say other than wohoooooooooo!

Thanks Russ,
Todd
Setup:
Adcom GFA-545 amp
Nad 1600 pre
Dual 704 TT
Pioneer 707 R2R
Pioneer DV-578A Multi-format
Polk SDA-2 Mains

Doesn't it look cool in the dark! Even my wife, who doesn't give a crap about audio walks by the other night and says "I like your 'blue' receiver" :D

Well, she could've said radio I guess.....she might have even said 'thing' now that I think about it. In fact I think she did :(

I've had 2 2270s for about 11 years now..Main system has SDA2s. Trade out those minimouse 7s! 2270s have renowned bass response. the transformers are huge! Good Luck!

This one is in the bedroom. I have a pair of monitor 4A's on the way. And I have a pair of baby advents coming too. We'll see which ones sound the best.

Hmmmmmm Wonder if the wife would mind a pair of SDA's in the bedroom :)
