Got my 25-31PC+ today. All I can say is WOW!
With very little tweaking, this is the best bass I've ever heard, bar none! It easily fills my room (which is greater than 25-25 w/13' ceilings and open to hall/kitchen/etc. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be satisfied, but its more than enough for my taste in bass. I can actually feel the floor shaking. Not at all dissapointed. I just wish I could listen and tweak it for the next few days, but I'm going out of town to the Big Easy for Jazz Fest. Guess it will wait until next week.

From SVS, I considered the PB10, the PB12, and the 25-31 PCi
From HSU, I considered the VT3MKII and some of the lesser models.
From Outlaw, I considered their LFM-1.

    That's about it.

It really came down to price/availablilty in the "slightly used w/remaining warranty" market.

The tube fit perfectly into a location in my LR/HT room and I figured the PC+ was the only way to get enough bass for my large room from 1 sub in my price range. I might have been happy with any of the others, but I would've always had doubts.
In my large room, most were recommending stuff out of my price range, but a few said that the PC+ was enough in their similar sized rooms. They were right.
