Hi All,

Been playing around with the bfd and wonder if I could solicit some input. Thanks to McLoki and gatemplin for their initial help.

I still have lots more fiddling to do but I think I'm headed in a positive direction. I have these 6 filters set:

20 hz -3 db, Q= 8
36 hz -3 db, Q= 4
40 hz -14 db, Q=30( )
45 hz -3 db, Q=12
50 hz +2 db, Q=8(I know this is probably wrong)
56 hz -6 db, Q=5

Any ideas on how to get rid of the 25 and 50 hz dips?

If you draw a horizontal line at about 83 db's the sub is around +- 4 db's from 16 to 80 hz. Thats not too bad is it?

Hope the sizing is right .....thanks kevin

wow that looks fantastic!! (compared to mine anyway)...

I would not worry about those dips they are not to bad. I will post mine when I get home and you will feel much better about your room. :D

The only real way to get rid of the dips is to move the sub or build bass traps in the room. If it is in a dedicated HT you can get away with it and make it look decent. If it is in your living room good luck passing the WAF factor..

In general you want to avoid increases, but 2db isn't bad. I would not perform any increases lower than about 45hz though.

    looks great.
