As I've said before, I got a stash of vintage classical LP's from a friend's dad a little while ago. Man, the Merc Living Presence recordings are nothing short of breathtaking. Helps that they are all in pristine condition. I've spent the last couple of days just spinning them and it's just been phenomenal.
The quality of these recordings that are all 40-odd years old is just amazing.
I'm interested in picking up some of the CD/SACD copies and do a little A/B'ing.
