Hi guys. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations hooking these things up? Of the three options:
1- Separate L/R lne-in input
2- Single (Y-cable) line-in input from sub-out
3- Separate L/R line-in input AND Y-cable from sub out to LFE in
Which do you prefer? System is used 90% for movies and there is no dedicated subwooder. Thanks for your advice.

When i had mine i had my rt3000s i had them connected with just the speaker wire and a jumper going to the top speaker. it seem to work just fine. I made sure i had the same quality speaker wire for the jumper going from the sub box to the satelite as i had coming from the receiver. i wouldnt recomend using a y splitter from the sub preout of your receiver. another option to use is take a quality cable from the left and right preout of your receiver to each speaker. then connect your speaker wires to the top speaker and set them to small in your receiver. It is a matter of personal opinion what sounds better. both will work fine.i do recommend using a good quality speaker cable. i noticed a difference.i used monster z2. i am not recomending monster just saying thats what i had and i liked the qualityof the cable and the difference from plain no name 12 guage speaker wire.post what works best for you. hope this helps.

I on the other hand am using a Y splitter on the back of the receiver at the sub output. I run subwoofer cables from the Y to the LFE input behind each sub. So far this is sounding real good to me for both music and movies.
I am not sure if this is bad for the receiver or not but I do not feel like I push the system anywhere near it's capacity. (well maybee %70)
I Bi-Wired the top speakers only because they came with the wire. ( i bought them used)
I am pretty happy with my system. ( for now.)Skynut
