polk amps

Would polk come out with more powerful amps?
for example a mono amp that is rated at say 1500 Watts RMS @ 1 ohm?

    dunno, i guess one of the polk people might... not likely any time soon, they're just wrapping up the SS speakers... if polk decides to continue in the amp markety in any case, it' probably begin with amps to match their equipment first...

    If, and when, we continue to do amp lines, a 1kW+ amp stable at 1 ohm is the top priority.

    When the Polk amps first came out I poo-poo'd them. Im kind of a purist and like speaker manufacturers to make speakers. However after hearing several of them, and reading a all the reviews of them I have since become a fan. I hope they continue the line.

    1000 watt amp would be interesting. That does seem to be the main **** of the line, not enough power.

    That would be about perfect. A 150x2, a 75x4, a 500x1 and a 1000x1 would have most of the bases covered.
