Amp safty light

When I plug my two pioner 12"s 150W norm 600W max in to my 300W Mosfet amp the Warning light turns on.What is going on? Please help.

    i'd say you're trying to run the amp at too low of an impedance. offhand, i'd say run the subs in series instead of parallel, cause it seems likely that that's what's happening.

    if you can provide details on how you're wiring the subs, which exact amp you're using, etc., that'd be great.

    Agreed. We need more info.

    If youre running 2 subs mono into a 2 channel amp then youre overloading it. Or it could be a short somewhere else.

    Give us more detailed info and we can help ya out better.
