Is it possible to use both the Optical and Coax Digital outputs at the same time. I want to use the optical in the living room where the tuner will be and run the coax to the whole house distribution amplifier.
The manual doesn't say anything one way or the other.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Can you hook the tuner up coaxially and optically to your Denon AVR? If so, switch the AVR from one input to the other with the tuner running. Since the XM tuner has no switching mechanism for output type, I'm inclined to believe everything is "hot" at all times. I use the optical and analog outputs simultaneously without issue.

I don't see why not. I've used the coax and analog outs simultaneously on my XRt12.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
