Never heard of the Contax brand.

Nikon and Canon pretty much dominate the camera market, especially digitals.

Kyocera owns both Yashica and Contax.

the market in general has been getting tough. This is by far the worst spring I've ever encountered in 6 years of retail. Kenwood's leaving... darn. Just another company who tried to live on HTiB's and flopped. To bad, they used to be a quality company. I just honestly wish a major turn in the electronics industry would happen so people stop thinking cheaper is better. $66 HTiB's and $149 24" Flatscreen Tubes... makes everyone think they're getting a steal. Sorry, you're just buying ****.

    Agreed.

My uncle was wanting to get a HT but said he didnt need anything expensive. Sound is sound and all he wanted was a $150 RCA HTIaB. Hell, 5 speakers, a sub AND a 500 watt receiver for only $150! Thats a great HT!!

I told him he needs to find a high end shop or hell even a Circuit City and go listen to a properly powered set of Monitors and then go out to the HTIaB aisle and have his eyes opened.
