My bad. I knew they had authorized online dealers. When I read that quote from their site, I assumed they meant they were going to walk-in store dealers.

Yeah, that's the link I meant.

Adire is completely re-doing their lines. They are going to be introducing around 60 new drivers.

Look out for the 18" Tumult with around 4" of linear excursion!

that's what i meant... i mean there's no reference to the beloved brahma, or any of the others, for that matter (try it... www.adireaudio.com, pick the mobile tab).

vr3blahblah - do you know when the new stuff is gonna be out?

    Sometime this year I believe...

Adire aquired a factory to produce over 5,000,000 drivers a year - thus, they are branching out to all sorts of drivings, variations of voice coils (2, 4, etc) -

Alot of the new drivers will be over-hung designs. Shiva being one of them...

I am unsure if the Brahmas are being changed...

Brahma's will be changed. They will have a smaller coil. The Tumults will be taking over as their top-of-the-line drivers for both home and car audio. Now, they have four levels instead of just three: Shiva/Tempest, Koda, Brahma, Tumult. No announced date yet. But there sure is tons of speculation!
They are still working on prototypes I guess. Haven't released specs on anything last I heard. You can always get the latest word on Adire's official forum at soundillusions.net

hum... i like adire... i think i'll REALLY like the tumult:

Tumult. Three inch diameter voice coil, XBL2 motor, 34mm one way Xmax. 12", 15", 18" sizes, dual 4s and dual 2s. Top of the line in output, great SQ. Like the current Tumults, just more options.
