I don't know if this is the proper place in the forum, or even the proper forum to ask about this question - but since there are probably alot of knowledgeable musicians out there, I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help.
I'm a pianist, and would love to be able to convert piano solos from my favorite pianists' cds into midi file, and then in turn convert them to actual sheet music. I believe there is software out there now that will do those types of things, but don't know if any are any good and so on. So, does anyone know of any good software products that do that kind of thing? Thanks, and forgive me if I shouldn't have asked this on this forum....

its perfectly fine to ask this on the forum....don't worry about it
and yes there is software that does it, however it doesn't always work so well. with a piano solo it might work better, then the regular music i tried it on. i think i found it on downloads.com or something, i dont remember the name of the program. sorry
