I just listened to them at showcase here in town, like them, but tweeter has them for 1/2 price. Just worried about getting used good etc..

Tweeter is now Polk's primary authorized nationwide (almost) retailer.

The T90E is the Euro version of the Monitor 60, nothing different about them. However, Tweeter is not selling used models either, they are brand spankin new!

    *EDITED*

I purchased a pair of T90e's from Tweeter back in 04 during their Thanksgiving Day sale (1/2 price sale w/ added 15% off = $320 delivered w/tax) .

The T90e's are identical to the Monitor 60's with two exceptions ..
    1. T90e are REAL wood veneer (vs Monitors series vinyl)
    2. speaker feet are black in color (vs Monitor series silver)

For the price I paid for the T90e's it was a real bargain in my book (list price being $650-$700). I replaced my front RTi6's with the T90e's strictly for HT purposes and could be not be happier . The T90e's were not a perfect timbre match for my CSi3 and RTi4's (rears) , but a close enough match of a honest/solid 85%-90% that they still blend VERY nicely with my setup . The slight timbre matching difference is virtually UN-noticeable in an HT environment .

I did however replaced the T90e metal jumpers with a set of AudioQuest KE-4 Bi-wire jumpers just for fun ; but it did pay of in the result of abit more depth and detail . Past that minor modification the T90e's they are a still solid performer for the $$$ .

If you like the sound of the T90e's (aka: M60) , then I say go for it while the 1/2 off sale is still available .
