Digital Audio strikes again!!

A friend of mine calls me asked would i setup his new ht speaker system for him. I agreed and asked him where did you get them and what brand are they, he then says to me they are digital audio speakers. I then tried to recall the last time i heard that name, and for the life of me could not recall. He asked me had i heard of them and to him they seemed pretty solid and that they were heavy to. So to make a long story short, i showed up to see them and they looked very familiar and he said these are cool right, the dude sold them to me for 150.00. And after hearing that he bought them from a guy on the street in a blue suv. It all hit me at once. It was the white van speaker people had struck again!!! So to spare his dignity i just kept the info from him and hooked them up. The sub is not the great but they arent as bad as i expected them to be, dont get me wrong they cant hold a candle to the sats polk carries but for 150...guess you cant do any worse, you couls spend a grand on crap with a well known name :rolleyes: . But after this i decided to check ebay and see if the white van speaker guys have gone to the online auction block to further the scamming ways...and hark hark look what i found:p ! speaker link . Check out how he posts other comments from people who have bought these...hilarious. Anyone else have any occurances with these guys, I have gotten stopped by these guys in one shape or another 5 times in the three years i have lived here. I treat them no different then the fake watch or cologne guy i run into here:D . Post your run ins or experience you might have had with them.

wow, $3000 worth of speakers for $250? Hmmm.... hahahahahha TOOL!

Here is a link for another set. digital audio. But reathe notice, it says the manufacture does not even make the boxes for there own speakers and that there is an additional charge for boxes and packing material .
