I'll never spend any of mine, tho. In the hopes that someday they will be worth at least $2 :PLudicrous gibs! -

Ignorance and arrogance, a winning combination!
I don't shop BB, but the next time I'm up there, I'm buying something and paying with $2.00 bills.Political Correctness'.........defined

I'd sue those **** for acusing me of a crime within earshot of other people.
This won't happen at CC, part of our procedure is to count $2 bills when the registers are closed. -

oddly i never had that problem when closing out a register...
It's rediculous though... i think we should post in all the forums that we respectively go to and get everyone to go buy something from best buy next week paying with $2 bills... doesn't matter if it's a cd, batteries, or a Hi-Def TV, the point is the message that we're sick of big companies trying to push us around...
I'm gonna pick up a cd sometime next week using $2 bills...MacLeod: I guess youre lucky Polk has such lax hiring standards.
Josh: Damn skippy! -
i was thinking the same thing the poster on that forum said, "For Baltimore County police, said spokesman Bill Toohey, "It's a sign that we're all a little nervous in the post-9/11 world."
What the hell does someone bombing an international trade center have anything to do with counterfeit money. rediculous. i can only hope something like this happens to me so i can get rich off of the stupidity of others:D

Damn, that Best Buy is about 3-4 miles down the road from where I work.
Stupid F-ers! I should get some $2 bills and go shopping!
JohnNo excuses! -
I emailed Best Buy about it just for the hell of it and this was their response:Thank you for contacting Best Buy via email. I'm Eric with Customer Care.
We appreciate your concern about the incident in our Baltimore area store. We
are aware of the article that you reference, and the situation that occurred at
the store. Best Buy does regret the incident took place, however, we also have
an obligation to contact the police when it appears counterfeit money is being
used. The fact the police were concerned enough about the money to take the man
into custody, and felt the need to contact the Secret Service, further
validates the store's concern. While I was happy to know that the money was
found to be legitimate, I am sorry to read that the situation left you with a
negative feeling about our company.
Thank you for sharing your comments with Best Buy. Please don't hesitate to
contact us with additional questions or concerns.
Best wishes from Best Buy,
