Help ID'ing my RTA12's

I have a pair of RTA12's ( pics on the Flea Market forum) that I am thinking are RTA12C's
They are not marked 12C's anywhere, however when reading the sevice and replacement parts link on the Polk web site it list what drivers go to what speaker
it says the RTA 12A and 12B use the SL1000 tweeter and MW6500 drivers
the RTA12C ( between 84-85) used the SL1000 tweeters and the MW6501 drivers
and the RTA12C used the SL2000 tweeters and the MW6501 drivers
well my RTA12's have the SL2000 tweters and I just pulled the drivers out of 1 of them and they are MW6501 dated Jun 01 1988
So can I safely assume I own the RTA12C's? even though they are not marked 12C anywhere on them. I am the original owner and I know that none of the markings have been removed or any of the drivers swapped out
Thanks in advance for any help/input
