Does anyone have a DVD player laying around that they'd like to sell? I'm looking for a DVD player that is specifically designed to play DVD-R discs.

The problem I'm having is with my ~5 year old Marantz DV-3100. It was not designed to play DVD-R disc, but it will play them, sometimes. So, I'm trying to get a DVD player that is <3 years old, which was designed to play DVD-R discs.

Thanks,
Greg

I have a Toshiba SD3900 somewhere in the closet. It plays DVD-R's fine. No remote, but the one it came with was awful anyways. I'd sell it to ya for $30 shipped if I can find it. Let me know if you are interested.

I use a 4900 for HT duty and works great, picture quality was better then the 3960 IMO and it has dvd-A capabilities// so the 3900 should work well
