Ok I have the Polk/MOMO 15"(MM2154) subwoofer, which can take up to 800 watts peak power max!!!! How many watts amplifier should I get for hooking up the subwoofer?? By the way i have 4 other polk car speakers in my car, I'm hoping if I hook up the sub to an amp that my speakers won't have to put out as much bass as they are now so they will then have better sound quality?? Right or wrong?? Someone please help me out, thanx!!!

The MM2154 handles 400 watts. The peak is pretty much meaningless.

If you want a single amp for all speakers and subs check out a 5 channel. Something like this could run it all.

you'll definately want to amp your interior speakers too if you want it to sound it's best.
MacLeod: I guess youre lucky Polk has such lax hiring standards.

    Josh: Damn skippy!
