For my HT 7.1 following setup I have made :

1.Set all Speakers to 80 hz
2.Set Center and side Surround speakers to small from Receiver.
3.set Subwoofer to 60 hz

What else I should do to get better bass on ht?I am replacing my
subwoofer soon,thinking about SVS PCI ULTRA!!Also is there any conflict on crossover?How can I calibrate my speaker's?

    Get a RadioShack SPL meter and AVIA Disc to calibrate your system.
    To my understanding if you are setting Xover to 80Hz in the receiver there is no need to set the Xover on your sub. If there is a switch on the sub to disable the Xover then disable it otherwise set it to 80Hz

    Speakers=>Salk Soundscape 8, Soundscape Center,Surrounds-Dali Rubicon LCR, Lsi7
    PreAmp, Amp => Marantz AV8801, ATI 6007 amp, Oppo HA-1 DAC
    Source => Sonore MicroRendu, Oppo BDP-103, Mede8er 600XD, Dune HD Smart D1, Synology DS1813+(16TB)
    Sub - JTR Captivator S2 (Dual 18")
    Power - Furman IT-Ref20i on dedicated 30Amp circuit with Furutech GTX-R outlet
    Screen=> JVC RS-45 projector Da-Lite HP 133" 2.35

    if you get a new sub you could set your mains to small
    let the amp on the sub take care of driving the low notes
    they should have a medium setting;)

    If I am reading you correctly, the sub X-over is the only one set stragely. Depending on the model of what you are using for the processor, you ought to set the sub X-over as high as possible to keep you from doubling up on the X-over.

    When you set the sub X-over, was it in the processor or on the sub itself?

    Go to 100Hz. Since you ar feeding the sub from a low pass filter from the other channels already, you don't want a second x-over at the same spot. This can cause a dip in your frequency response around the X-over location.

    What exactly are you trying to solve though? What type of reciever are you using?

    With the 12's, I would set your X-over on speakers @ 60 and your sub at 100Hz and see how that works for you.
