Does anyone else get imageing between direct radiating surround speakers? I have adjusted mine many times and know have it. Front to side and side to rear, with exception of the center.
I have read proper placemant and all but nothing about this. Anybody.

    Chris,

Are you listening to 5 channel music formats (i.e. SACD, DVD-A)?

Otherwise, you'd be hard pressed to get 'imaging' from your surround speakers on DD or DTS movie soundtracks. Typically, the surround speakers are used for ambience and not really focused stereo sounds. Sometimes the surrounds are sent split sounds where maybe the LS would receive an effect and the RS wouldn't.

I think the same would also apply to DSP surround modes, like my Onkyo's 5 channel stereo mode. The rears aren't really true stereo pairs, but a mix of the signal from the front L & R speakers. I don't think it possible to get imaging from a matrix surround mix.
