A-Bus Systems

Does anyone have experience with the various A-Bus whole house systems? I am building a vacation home and would like to put speakers for background music in several rooms and the patio. It seems like a good inexpensive way to go as the entire system is wired with Cat-5 cable.

Or I could do a Bose Lifestyle, but they are somewhat expensive for what you get, for the second zones I don't have to use Bose speakers (have to use Bose Amp however), but in the HT I would.
Lastly a conventional rack system with a separate amp and speaker selector for the various zones. I have one of these in my house now and they do have good sound but can get expensive and are not user (wife) friendly. I know this is probably the best sounding setup but I'm looking for something simpler to operate.

There's an A-bus system for sale where I work. It seems pretty darn nice and easy to use. The one we have lets you select source and adjust volume on an amplified keypad or by remote. Very straightfoward.
I have a hunch Dan (mantis) has installed a few of the A-bus systems, and would be a good reference as well. -
Thanks for thr reply... How is the volume from the ABUS system? I'm concerned as the Channel Vision only puts out 7 watts.
