The ability of people to imagine audbile differences when they know that the equipment has been changed is well-known, and the unwillingess of people who make such judgments -- and who often are in the business of selling very high-priced substitutes for equally-good low-priced items -- to subject their claims to testing is indefensible.

Hey look everybody, the same "Amazing Randi" that was proven a fraud himself way back in the day...it's nice to see the old goat still causing "controversy" to two or three people these days.
It's a shame he didn't send that email to anyone who matters in the audio industry, with the exception of The Absolute Sound, specifically any of the major cable manufacturers.
I guess he was just lazy that day.

Richard Clark has the same thing going in the car audio community. You win $10,000 if you correctly distinguish between 2 different amps. After about a decade, nobody has yet to claim the prize.
