Have any of y'all ever purchased any workout equipment online? If so, any recommended sites or bad experiences with any others?

Muchas Gracias......

Why don't you start working the cleaning supplies at the apartment? I bet you'll look like Ferrigno after (or if) you ginally get done...

are ya nuts? do you want to pay the shipping on that stuff? consult the yellow pages and find a store, that way u could probably go in and actually see the equipment and sit in it. if you order it online, you might get it home and realize its not comfortable at all.

Actually I have been into a few stores to get a feel for some of the equipment, but I wanted to price out some good sites to see what things were going for comparably.

I know that the shipping would be a ****, but sometimes it might be better off if the pricing is low enough.

One of the main things i'm looking for are the plates with the handles, but the type that i see all over the net is the one's with color coded swiveling handles. Those are fine, but i dont' really care to pay for pretty blue indicating 45 pound and red for 35 etc.....

what about the plates that have arent solid in the center and rubberized like the ones at golds gym, those are easy to pick up and place on a rack/bar.

I've seen those.....i'm really looking for at least a pricing comparison.

Here are the type that i see a lot of, but they're priced too high for me personally. (and no, i'm not looking to dump 2g's on weights)

This is more inline pricepoint-wise, but i do like the feel of the 2 handles on opposite sides like the link above.

Here is the one that's most ideal, but the only pricing I've found is over $2 per pound....not what I'm going to be spending on weights.....

actually the ones you like will be the easiest to carry. having your hands underneath semi underneath the weight will make it easier to pick up i'd think. either way, 45 lbs shouldnt be too stressful for you to pick up regardless of where the openings are lol.

    lol......true true......

I've used the ones with the 2 handles at the gym's and do like the feel of them....not enough to pay $2 per pound, but ya know....

I'm going out of town again tomorrow to St Louis for the week so it's not something that I'm going to be doing immediately, but i do want to get something in the near future.

You don't want to mail order that stuff. The shipping will f#ckin kill you...
