Wanted to put some feelers out there to see how many people had experienced the Depth from Martin Logan. I've become very fond of this unit, and I'm really impressed with its performance. I'm very happy w/ my SVS, and would imagine that the PB 12 Ultra 2 is a real monster and can probably hold its own w/ the Depth, but this thing rocks. Deep, accurate bass that shakes the whole salesfloor at the dealer I heard it at, even though it's separated off in separate theater room. Really impressive.
Even more impressive, is the triangular setup of the three drivers, which cancels out all internal resonance to the point that you can place a quarter on its side on top of the sub and it will not budge, even though all 4 walls of the room are about to come down.
Not too pricey at $1600-sure its expensive, but when a pair of the ML floor standers get above $5k/pr, $1600 for the sub is not bad.
Anyone else heard this bad boy?
