I just changed my closet into a drawing room and I HAVE to have my music in there... :) The money situation is a little low- I will run these off my Pioneer SX-1280 on the "B" speakers also, space is a premium so ill have to use bookshelfs. I was wondering, would the R30's sound good? I would switch them with my RT5s in my bedroom. Would this be worth it? Is the SQ around the same? Thank You

Isn't the R30 a floorstander...as is the RT5? Why not just get a pair of R20's or Monitor 30's for background music?

RT5 is a bookshelf and would be a great near-field speaker.

the RT5 would kick the R30 tail man...easily
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
