Bay Area DAC listening?

Well I keep seeing post after post about the mind blowing experience of $1000 DACs - and while I'll drop $500 because people say something is awesome, $1000 is a bit much
So, just wondering if anyone knows any hifi shops in the Bay Area that have listening rooms with a variety of outboard DACs.

I'm not familiar with your area. But I do know that places like Music Direct and Audio Advisor offer reasonable return policies.
I know that Music Direct has a good offer running on the Musical Fidelity X-DACv3 and matching tube buffer and power supply.
Also Audio Advisor has the ever popular Benchmark Dac1.
I'm actually trying to decide between these myself. If you happen to try one soon I'd love to hear your opinions.
Good luck.HT
