I’ve sold an old tube amp and the buyer requested the tubes be removed and packed separately.
Do the tubes pull straight out?

Thanks,

You may have to wiggle them a little, side to side, or in a circular motion.

Also PLEASE be very concious of any lettering/graphics on the tubes - do NOT touch the lettering if it all possible, the thin layer of paint will rub off VERY easily.

Wrap them carefully in sections of paper towels, or t.p., and place them in a sammich baggie, THEN wrap them in bubble.

    Cheers,

Got them all out in one piece, damn they were snug.
Thanks for the info and packing tips.
Not to get all mushy but I’ll have to agree with the thread “We've got a damn fine forum here.”
