Man i have the same dillema and i am so confused whether i should get two 10's or two 12's. What kind of music do u listen to? Lots of people on this site told me to get two 12's because i listen 2 rap AND becuase its gonna be in the trunk, not in the back seat. However, my best friends, aka the first people to tell me about subs, and the only people who have subs like in my area, tell me to get 10's over and over again because of its SQ. Finally, one of them told me "OK if u want SPL so much, get 3 10's" so now im even considering that, but im not sure how that would work. I would need either a badass amp, or would need to pay extra money on another amp or so. I'm not quite sure yet what im gonna do, but when u find out what ur doin, let me know how it turns out, because im not gettin my subs for another 5-6 months... im just plannin in advance. What kind of music do u listen to? Also, ur talking about gettin either MM2024 or MM2124 right?

I dont like 15's. Way too sloppy.

    My rule:

If its going to be in the car with you as in a SUV or hatchback, use 10's.

If its going in the trunk or you want maximum SPL go with 12's.

In your case Id recommend 2 MM2124's.

i listin to rap and rock n roll.this cutlass the back seats fold down and ill probably have them folded down alot.so you would recomend 2 12 inch momo's?should i order the dvc momo's??im thinkin about gettin either a hifonics'Phoenix Gold'profile or mtx amp.im gonna get a amp that pushes 350 at 4 ohm or 700 at 2.im gonna underpower them by 50 watts couse i dont wanna mess them up like my last 2 momo's i had or will i be safe running 400 watts to them??

You will absolutely be safe running them at 400 watts. Actually safer than running them at 350.

If you run 350 to them you will be a little more likely to push the amp to clipping at which point the amp will send a very sloppy signal to the sub at about 700 watt and quickly killing them.

    Go for the 400x2.

since you want 2 subs, you'll want an amp that produces, in some way, 800 watts at 2 ohms OR one that makes 1600 watts at either 1 or 4 ohms. 1- or 2-channel amp, doesn't matter.

the phoenix gold R15.0:1 is good for the SVC models. this overdoes it a tad, which is good because as long as you set the gains properly, it'll be better for the amp and the sub, and thus you.

I like Phoenix Gold out of the amps you listed.

As far as power get the ones that most closely match the speakers youre going to be using.

i think you shouldhit up the 10's...i got 2 of them with an 800w kenwood amp and they sound great they hit hard and have alot of juice in them and they are great. i got them on a christmas sell for $20 a peice so if you can find them cheaper than polk.com has them u should be all over it.i think you shouldhit up the 10's...i got 2 of them with an 800w kenwood amp and they sound great they hit hard and have alot of juice in them and they are great. i got them on a christmas sell for $20 a peice so if you can find them cheaper than polk.com has them u should be all over it.
