Hello, and help

Hello everyone, I have decided to put togther a 2-ch system. I am new to most of this, and on a whim I bought a pair of monitor 7 speakers on ebay today. So that is the start of my new system. I am on a tight budget and need some advice on componets to go with these speakers. Looking around on ebay I see that I can buy older amps and pre amps (adcom, rotel) for little of nothing; 100-150 or so. I have a new pioneer dvd/scad/dvd audio player so that part of the system is covered. I will be using this system in a small apartment. And my taste in music is pretty diverse, everything from metallica to Opera.

Ok, that is the background, now for the questions. Anyone got any recomendations. Usefull info would be things like minimum power for the amp. Brands to look at, brands to steer clear of and wether I should be looking at seprates or integrated units.

Take a look in our flea market, there are a couple things that would work out just peachy for you. There is a Nakamichi RCV for sale....old school power for an old school speaker.
