Anyone know anything about this CD player? A dealer by me has a demo unit available for $175...should I pick this up?

When was the player manufactured? It's been more than a few years, hasn't it?

I'm reading lots of negative stuff over on Audioreview.com...seems that these things have issues in the transport section...

Think I'll pass on this one. I'm not really unhappy with the Denon, just always on the look-out for a good deal.

    Thanks guys

support for most anything from California Audio Labs (CAL). might be tough to find repairs and or parts.. since they are no longer around.

I do love my CAL tube DAC though. no moving parts. hee hee hee!
